LeadingAge Maryland 2019 Annual Conference- What if

Biggest and Best Yet!

What If…we gathered the LeadingAge Maryland community for a terrific conference? More people, more breakout sessions, more conversations, more envisioning the future, more learning from experts and one another…more, more, more. The 2019 Annual Conference was a great event – from the lovely spring weather to the lively buzz of connections and ideas.

Thank you to everyone who made it possible and that’s a very long list, including everyone who participated. We heard over and over, “how can I possibly choose between breakouts – they all look great?” So, presentations can be downloaded here and we’ll continue to highligh some of the insights from the conference in our upcoming communications.

One very clear takeaway from the conference is the collective energy to make a bigger difference together. We’ll start with work groups on palliative care and hospice, and continuing care at home/ aging in community, as well as a learning community on trauma-informed care. And, lots of other possibilities are brewing. Jump in!

2018 Annual Conference- Life on Purpose

Not sure which sessions to register for or recommend to your team? See our session suggestion cheat sheet.

Our annual conference is a great opportunity to take time out from the daily rush to focus on both the present and the future. Life on Purpose points to intentional priorities, strong values lived out daily, calculated risks, wise decisions, and new ways of thinking and being. We will gather to explore how individually and collectively we might each live life on purpose and extend the fruits of that to older adults in Maryland living their lives on purpose.

2017 Annual Conference- Power of Purpose

The Business Member Galleria

The Power of Purpose, the 2017 LeadingAge Maryland Annual Conference was held April 24-25 at Turf Valley Resort. This was the 5th year of the conference and the biggest ever.  We had more attendees, more exhibitors and more sessions than ever before!

LeadingAge Maryland embodies the collegial community of not-for-profits working together to make a difference for one another and for older adults in Maryland. Nowhere is this

more apparent than at the conference when learning together, laughing together, collaborating, and sharing experiences and ex

pertise are the order of the day. Our members, both not-for-profits and business firms, have so much rich knowledge and perspectives to share.

A good time was had by all
