On November 29, 2018, LeadingAge Maryland and LeadingAge DC held the 2018 Finance & Strategy Symposium at Asbury Support and Collaboration Center in Frederick, Maryland. On November 30, 2017, LeadingAge Maryland and LeadingAge DC held the 2017 Finance & Strategy Symposium at Homewood at Frederick in Frederick, Maryland. This one-day event, sponsored by Ziegler, provided an overview of the most recent industry trends, highlights of innovative case studies from around the country, and ample time for networking!

Topics were of interest to a broad audience, including finance, administration, marketing, clinical and other professionals, and covered:

  • A State of Aging Services overview based on Ziegler research and experience
  • Insights on cyber security as well as perspectives from a member organization victimized by a phishing scam
